Who we are and how to reach us
There is no public email address; the way to reach us is the form at the bottom of the homepage. A person reads every message.
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, send a request through the same form. We will reply by email.
What we collect
When you use the form, we collect what you type into it:
- your name and work email;
- your agency or organization;
- your role;
- optionally, your state, your agency’s size and a message.
The service that hosts this site keeps standard server logs, such as the time of a request, the page requested and general network information.
Form processor: Web3Forms
Form submissions are delivered by a third-party service, Web3Forms, which forwards each message to our email. According to Web3Forms’ privacy policy:
- it operates from India;
- it uses Amazon Web Services (including Amazon SES for sending mail), Cloudflare and Hetzner as infrastructure providers;
- it keeps submitted messages for up to three years from submission;
- to screen for spam, it may share a submitter’s IP address and email address with CleanTalk and Akismet;
- it offers a data processing agreement on request.

Purpose
We use what you send only to reply to you and, if the conversation continues, to follow up. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.
Retention
Messages arrive in our email. We keep them for as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and we delete them on request.
No cookies, analytics or pixels
This site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking pixels.
Sensitive information
Please don’t send us criminal justice information, case details, or personal information about members of the public through this form. If a message arrives with information like that, we will not retain it beyond what is needed to tell you it can’t be handled here.
Security, children and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the version in effect.
